Tee beam is found in construction. It is a load-bearing structure of reinforced concrete, wood, or metal, and contains a t-shaped cross-section. It is constituted by a stem and a flange in the form of a T; generally from reinforced concrete or rolled metal.
The uppermost part of the t-shaped cross-section functions as a flange or compression member in withstanding compressive pressures.
T-Section is also called T beam or T bar. It stands for a structural beam that includes a “T” shaped cross-section. T-section is usually formed with plain carbon steel.
